Open a table for friends

How it works

  1. Open a table. Choose Friends with the link, and pick your house rules: called ace or jack of diamonds, leasters or doublers, three, four or five players.
  2. Send the link. Copy the invite link from the waiting room and send it in a text or an email. Your friends open it and sit down, with or without an account.
  3. Turn on video and voice. Everybody seated can turn on a camera or a microphone, and each of you chooses whom to see and hear.
  4. Deal. The host starts the game. Empty seats get computer players, and friends can take them over between hands.

Video and voice

Your camera and microphone stay off until you turn them on, and you can turn them off at any time. Your video and sound go straight from your browser to your friends' browsers. They never pass through our servers, and we never record them. It works in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone. Video and voice are on this website, not in the apps.

Some networks, often at work or school, don't allow browsers to connect directly. If a friend shows "No video link", try another network, like home Wi-Fi or your phone's data. More in Support.

Questions

Do my friends need an account?

No. They open the link and sit down. An account only keeps a player's name, stats and hands played.

How many can play?

Three, four or five at a table. Computer players fill the seats nobody takes.

Can we play on phones?

Yes, in the phone's browser. There's nothing to install.

Is there a clock?

When two or more people share a table, each turn has a clock so the game keeps moving. You choose how long when you open the table.

Is it free?

Yes. Nothing is ever played for money: the scores are points only.
