Terms of Use
The rules of the house at Sheepshead by DewWow. In effect since October 7, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and DewWow LLC ("we") for sheepshead.dewwow.com and our apps. By playing online or creating an account, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Be kind: no tolerance for abuse
Sheepshead is a social game, and the chat is part of the fun. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not post or use as your name anything that is:
- harassing, bullying, threatening or hateful toward anyone, including about race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or where they come from;
- sexual, obscene or violent;
- spam, scams, advertising or links to them;
- somebody else's personal information, or pretending to be somebody else.
Chat is filtered for offensive words and does not accept links, email addresses or phone numbers, so nobody can be lured into a private conversation. Every message and player can be reported, and every player can be blocked so you no longer see their messages. We review reports within 24 hours. We may hide messages, mute or ban players from chat, reset names, and remove accounts that break these rules, without warning.
Play fair
No cheating: no sharing your cards with other players at the table, no using more than one seat at a table, and no tampering with the game or the server.
No real money
Scores are points, for fun. Nothing here is played for money or prizes, and the points have no value.
Accounts
You must be 13 or older to play online. You need no account to play; if you create one, keep your password to yourself, and use one account per person. You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
What you post
You are responsible for your messages and your name. You allow us to show them to the other players in the game, and to keep them in our records as described in the Privacy Policy.
The apps
Playing on the website is free. Our apps are bought once through the app store; the app store's own license terms (for the Apple App Store, the Licensed Application End User License Agreement) apply to the app along with these terms. Games against the computer players work without an internet connection; playing with people needs our server.
The service
We work to keep the tables open, but we provide the game "as is", without warranties, and it may change or be unavailable at times. To the extent the law allows, DewWow LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using it, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; we will post the new version here with a new date, and our apps will ask you to agree again. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA.
